Samsung T639 Review

When talking about Samsung phones nowadays, the Samsung T639, as Samsung's first 3G mobile phone, must be the spotlight. The T639 is billed as a 3G network phone and fully operates on the 3G network. This is of course a good phone with mid-range features such as music player and Bluetooth. The call quality is decent and it is a two toned design.

Samsung T639 has a dimensions of 94 x 38 x 17 mm with a weight of 91g which just fit right for your palm with a quality feeling. This flip phone sports a 2.2-inch 262k colour internal screen with 176X220 pixels and a outer screen with 128x32 pixels. This two toned design not only provide you with bright, colour and pleasant viewing experience, but also allows you a few more editing options including changing the backlighting.


Samsung T639 has a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video capacities as well as a built in camcorder. With it you are provided five options of resolution settings as well as a fair number of photo-editing options. You also have the My Faves courtesy of the T-Mobile network. For the money, Samsung has hit on a good phone. My only complaint is that it doesn't do enough on the 3G network for busy people that need more functionality than this phone delivers. However, if you want a bare essentials phone, then this one will do the trick for you. Don't be put off by its lack of features. For someone that needs a good solid phone, you have got a wonderfully solid phone in the T639. Samsung, it seems has the magic formula to produce wonderful phones and is well known for creating high quality phones. So if you want a good usable phone, choose the Samsung T639.
